Elysian Theory

Established in 2015, Elysian Theory is a small-batch jewelry brand that blurs the line between sophisticated minimalism and soft femininity. Every piece is designed and handmade by Elyse Tolles in her Midtown Sacramento studio, and the core value of intentional, high quality craftsmanship is at the forefront of every Elysian Theory design. Each of our pieces are individually designed, sculpted, baked, sanded, painted, and packaged by hand, and we’re inspired by the contemporary feminine, all things dreamy and ethereal, the juxtaposition of modern and old-world, the beauty of the organic and imperfect, the art of gift-giving, and the feeling you get from wearing a kick-ass pair of statement earrings. The antithesis to mass produced, fast fashion items, Elysian Theory pieces embody attention to detail and serve as functional art- they are delicate handmade items, and no two pieces are exactly alike. Founder and maker Elyse Tolles has been exploring the possibilities of polymer clay since 2015, and her work has been a driving force in the recent popularization of polymer clay throughout the US. Elysian Theory designs have appeared in publications such as HGTV Magazine, Bust Magazine, Conde Nast Traveler, and Style Me Pretty, and most recently, Elyse was interviewed for San Diego Voyager Magazine, featured in Etsy's Featured Shops series, and chosen as a finalist in Etsy's first ever Design Awards.
